Maya Hall: Palenque, continued.

 

The first two photos show the jade jewelry adorning the body of Pakal in his sepulchre, while the third provides the explanatory text. The photos do not do justice to the deep green color of the mask and jewelry.

 

The next photo features an ornament from a belt, as well as other items found in the tomb. The person in front of the exhibit spent hours sketching the belt ornament.
